The VIB Flow Core Leuven supports researchers with flow cytometry and FACS cell sorting, from experimental design to reliable data. We provide access to quality-controlled instruments and help users choose, optimize, and troubleshoot the right workflow for their research question.
Our expertise includes panel design, assay setup, instrument training, data acquisition, cell sorting, and technical troubleshooting. We support both routine flow cytometry experiments and more advanced applications, including complex multicolor panels, rare cell sorting, and workflows connected to downstream analysis or functional assays.
Because many flow cytometry challenges start before the first sample is acquired, we encourage users to contact us early. Together, we can discuss feasibility, controls, fluorochrome choices, sample preparation, sorting strategy, and data quality — helping you get the most out of your experiment.
